Karen Ann Harmon, 26, went missing on May 29, 1982, near the Timber and Vernonia junction along Highway 26 in Timber, Oregon. On the morning of her disappearance, she left her home to walk to a nearby store, but she never returned. Her husband reported her missing later that day. At the time, she lived with her husband and two children in an old church in Timber.
