Rosario Teresa Gonzalez, a 20-year-old aspiring model, was last seen on February 26, 1984, at the Miami Grand Prix, where she was working a temporary job handing out aspirin samples for a pharmaceutical company. Witnesses reported seeing her leave the venue around noon with an unidentified man in his thirties. Rosario's car, a 1980 Oldsmobile Cutlass, was found parked near Dupont Plaza, and her paycheck from that day was never claimed. She lived with her parents in Homestead, Florida, and was set to be married in June of that year. Rosario has not been heard from since.

Christopher Wilder, a notorious serial killer active during that period, became a prime suspect in her disappearance. Wilder, who was at the Grand Prix on the day Rosario vanished, has been linked to a series of abductions, rapes, and murders of women across the United States. Despite his death later in 1984 during a police confrontation, Wilder never revealed any information about Rosario's fate. Her case remains unsolved, and foul play is strongly suspected.
