In the autumn of 1987, 36-year-old Robert Louis Arcaris vanished from Las Vegas, Nevada, leaving behind a mysterious and unresolved case. On October 12, 1987, Arcaris was reportedly boating on Lake Mead, a vast reservoir just east of the city. He was never seen or heard from again after that day.
