Ruth Alice Jacobus, a 76-year-old woman, went missing on June 7, 1989, from her home in Pioneer, Amador County, California. She was last seen by her husband around noon that day. Ruth was wearing a blue dress with white ruffles and slippers at the time of her disappearance. It is believed that she may have wandered away from her home, which is located in an area with steep and rugged canyons.
