Roxanne Edna McGreehan, a 20-year-old woman, was last seen on October 18, 2002, in Schertz, Texas. At the time of her disappearance, she had a young daughter and plans to join the military. On the day she went missing, Roxanne was staying with friends and was reportedly walking to a nearby friend's house, but she never arrived and was never heard from again. In October 2018, Matthew Engelbrecht, a former neighbor of Roxanne's who was already serving a prison sentence for a different 2002 murder, was charged with her murder. Authorities believe that Engelbrecht killed her and disposed of her body in Cibolo Creek, but her remains have never been found. Engelbrecht reportedly confessed to certain details of the crime, though her body has not been recovered, and foul play is strongly suspected in her case. Despite these developments, the case remains unresolved, and Roxanne's body has yet to be located.
