Hana Scordato, a 14-month-old girl, was last seen on December 17, 2005, in Newark, New Jersey. Hana was allegedly abducted by her mother, Rumi Kataoka, following a domestic dispute. It is believed that Rumi, who has a history of alcohol abuse, took Hana and fled to Japan. Hana is biracial, with brown hair and brown eyes, and may go by the last name "Kataoka." At the time of her disappearance, she was 2 feet tall and weighed around 20 pounds.
