In the late summer of 2023, a then 17-year-old girl named Aaliyah Bryant vanished from her community in Newark, New Jersey. She was last seen on August 29th in the 100 block of Chancellor Avenue. The day after she was last seen, Aaliyah was officially reported as a missing person, prompting concern from her family and law enforcement.
