Amena Mohammed El-Sayed, a 3-year-old girl, was last seen on January 22, 2006, in South Orange, New Jersey. She was abducted by her non-custodial father, Mohammed El Sayed. A felony warrant for his arrest was issued shortly after the abduction, on January 24, 2006, followed by a federal warrant for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution in September 2006. Authorities believe that El Sayed may have taken Amena to Saudi Arabia or Egypt in June of that year.
