Edward Lacz, a 65-year-old man from Roselle, New Jersey, was last seen on December 4, 2008, when he left his home to go fishing off the coast of Sewaren, New Jersey. He never returned from his trip. His vehicle and boat trailer were found parked at the Sewaren Marina, but there was no sign of Lacz. The following morning, his 19-foot boat was discovered about twenty miles offshore near East Rockaway, New York.
