Mario F. Saavedra, a 20-year-old college student, was last seen on April 11, 1986, in Jersey City, New Jersey. He was attending Jersey City State College at the time. On the day of his disappearance, Mario told his mother he was going to a study group. Later that day, he called his family, stating that he would spend the night at a friend’s house. He never returned home.
