Nickan Almasi, a 5-year-old boy, was last seen on December 31, 2009, in San Ramon, California. His disappearance is believed to be the result of a family abduction by his non-custodial father, Mehran Almasi. Authorities issued a felony warrant for Mehran on February 11, 2010. It is suspected that Mehran fled with Nickan to Iran, as both father and son are of Iranian descent.
At the time of his abduction, Nickan was 3'6" tall, weighed 35 pounds, and had black hair and eyes.
Despite ongoing efforts to locate him, his whereabouts remain unknown. There have been no significant updates since his abduction, and the case remains unsolved.
