Nickan Almasi, a 5-year-old boy, was last seen on December 31, 2009, in San Ramon, California. His disappearance is believed to be the result of a family abduction by his non-custodial father, Mehran Almasi. Authorities issued a felony warrant for Mehran on February 11, 2010. It is suspected that Mehran fled with Nickan to Iran, as both father and son are of Iranian descent.
