Ilias Badys, a 3-year-old boy, was last seen on September 26, 2009, in Sacramento, California. He had traveled to Morocco to visit his non-custodial father, Murad Al-Kanouni, and was supposed to return to his mother, Eva Pena, after the visit. However, Ilias never came back. His father failed to return him, and both Ilias and Murad are believed to have gone into hiding in Morocco. Despite legal efforts by his mother, who won custody of Ilias in Moroccan courts, she was unable to retrieve him. ...
