On July 12, 2010, 9-year-old Briana Ochoa and her two sisters, Mindy and Tania, were reported missing from Grover Beach, California. Authorities believe they were abducted by their non-custodial mother, Mireya Graciano. A felony warrant for kidnapping was issued for Graciano shortly after, on July 14, 2010. It is suspected that the family may have traveled to Tijuana, Mexico, and their whereabouts remain unknown.
