In the autumn of 1980, 43-year-old Patricia 'Patty' Ann Lilly vanished into the crisp mountain air of the Pike National Forest in Colorado. Originally from Delaware, she had moved to be with a man she intended to marry. On October 5th, she and her 29-year-old companion from Woodland Park were hiking on Bison Mountain, a rugged peak southwest of Denver.
