Luke Aaron Tredway, a 10-year-old boy from Portland, Oregon, went missing on May 23, 1984. He was last seen leaving a friend's house at around 5:15 p.m. to walk home, which was only a short distance away. However, Luke never arrived. His mother, who was nine months pregnant at the time, reported him missing to the police at 7:00 p.m., but authorities did not initiate a search until several hours later. Despite extensive efforts, including the use of bloodhounds, no trace of Luke was found.
