Eugene Bryce Morris, a 73-year-old World War II Navy veteran, was last seen on May 27, 1987, in Hampton, Virginia. His disappearance occurred just two months after his marriage to Deborah Lynn Morris, who was nearly half his age. Deborah, who had quickly gained control over Eugene’s financial accounts and benefits, allegedly lured him out of his home under the pretense that her car had broken down.
