Anita Yolanda Parker, a 37-year-old woman from Los Angeles, was last seen on November 17, 1998, in the 6000 block of Brynhurst Avenue. She has not been heard from since. Standing at 5'10" and weighing around 135 pounds, Anita was wearing a black jacket, a top, and sneakers when she disappeared. Her family and authorities suspect that she may have been one of the many victims of the notorious Grim Sleeper, a serial killer who preyed on African-American women in Los Angeles over several decades.
