Howard Lee Ellis, a 39-year-old man from Goldsboro, North Carolina, went missing on September 7, 1999. Ellis was last seen at 2:20 p.m. walking away from Wayne Memorial Hospital before he was formally discharged. Ellis had a history of seizures and was receiving treatment on the day of his disappearance.
