Dawn Marie Young, aged 26, was last seen on May 29, 2005, in Sacramento, California. Reports conflict regarding her exact location at the time—she was either downtown or leaving her father’s home in North Sacramento. Young, who had been struggling with heroin addiction, had recently relapsed after a brief recovery following a stint in rehab. Her parents reported her missing, but she has never been heard from since.
