Charles Alper, a 28-year-old fisherman, was last seen on Friday, March 4, 2011, aboard the 57-foot fishing vessel named the Collector. The vessel was located approximately one mile northeast of Galilee, in Narragansett, Rhode Island, at the time of his disappearance. Alper, a resident of North Kingstown, was reported missing after the boat's captain went below deck for a brief period and returned to find him gone. It is believed that he went overboard.
