The next day, Deri's car, a black 2013 BMW, was found abandoned in a parking lot at North Beach, Point Reyes National Seashore. This area is known to be dangerous due to its rugged terrain and hazardous conditions. Despite an extensive search, no further trace of Deri has ever been found, and there has been no activity on his financial records since his disappearance. Authorities remain unsure about what happened but consider him an endangered missing person.
