In the remote and often unforgiving landscape of Nome, Alaska, a young man's disappearance has remained a persistent mystery for decades. Ernest L. Saccheus, a 24-year-old male, was last seen on September 23, 1987. On that day, Saccheus, also known by his nickname 'Sonnyboy,' was making a stopover in Nome while traveling home from Anchorage.
