The search continued Wednesday for a man missing northwest of Nome after he set out for the Norton Sound city Dec. 20 on a long walk from a family cabin on the coast, according to Alaska State Troopers.
Teams began looking for John Koezuna, 55, by air on Wednesday, focusing along the coast between Woolley Lagoon and Nome. They also continued to search trails and the highway from Teller after failing to find the man in Nome on Monday or Tuesday.
