In the close-knit fishing community of Bayou La Batre, Alabama, the disappearance of Victor Shiloh Barbour remains a somber and unresolved story. On January 6, 1988, which tragically was his 20th birthday, Barbour was working as the first mate aboard the fishing vessel, the Miss Mickie.
