Kimberly Teresa Williams, aged 37, was last seen on June 20, 1995, in La Mesa, California. On that day, she was at an apartment with a man named Michael Greg Green, with whom she had been involved. Witnesses reported hearing a violent argument between the two, after which Green was seen leaving the apartment in his van, with Kimberly in the passenger seat. She appeared to be sitting upright but was unresponsive. Green never returned to the apartment, although he came back later in the night to retrieve some of his belongings.

Prior to her disappearance, Kimberly had expressed fears for her safety, telling others that Green had been violent toward her. After her disappearance, Green was later arrested and convicted for her murder, despite the lack of physical evidence linking him directly to the crime. He was also convicted of the attempted murder of another woman and is currently serving a life sentence. Kimberly's body has never been found, but foul play is strongly suspected due to the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.
