Kimberly Teresa Williams, a 37-year-old woman, has been missing since June 20, 1995, from La Mesa, California. On the day of her disappearance, she was at an apartment with a man identified as Michael Greg Green. A witness reported hearing a violent argument between Williams and Green and subsequently contacted the police. Before authorities could arrive at the scene, Green was seen driving away in his van with Williams in the passenger seat. A witness described Williams as sitting upright but not moving.
Prior to her disappearance, Williams had expressed to others that Green was violent and that she feared for her life. After leaving the apartment with Williams, Green did not return to live there but was seen in the middle of the night removing his personal belongings. Kimberly Teresa Williams has not been seen or heard from since that day.
At the time she went missing, Williams was described as being 5'5" tall and weighing approximately 120 pounds. She had black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing blue Levi's jeans and a purple t-shirt.
Although Kimberly Williams's body has never been located, foul play is strongly suspected in her case due to the circumstances surrounding her disappearance. Michael Greg Green was later arrested and charged in connection with her case. In a significant development, Green was convicted of the murder of Kimberly Teresa Williams, despite the absence of a confession or physical evidence directly linking him to the crime. In addition to the murder conviction, Green was also found guilty of the attempted murder of another woman. He is currently serving a sentence of 131 years to life in prison.
