Ping Huang, a 47-year-old tourist from Taiwan, disappeared on June 29, 1999, while visiting Fullerton, California. He was part of a tour group and staying at a local hotel. On the day of his disappearance, the group had planned a trip to Disneyland, but Huang opted to stay behind at the hotel. When the group returned later in the day, both Huang and his luggage were missing from the hotel room.
