Rosemary Kunst, a 70-year-old woman from San Anselmo, California, was last seen on August 18, 2000, near Spirit Lake in the Marble Mountain Wilderness of Siskiyou County. Rosemary, an avid hiker, had joined a spiritual retreat organized by the Earth Circle Association, a group focusing on Native American spiritual practices.
