Jose Balderas Camarillo, a 21-year-old from Falfurrias, Texas, went missing on April 21, 2014, while attempting to cross the South Texas desert near the Falfurrias Border Patrol Checkpoint. He was traveling with a group of individuals trying to bypass the checkpoint. It is reported that the group left him behind after he became dizzy and was unable to continue walking.
