Dorothy Jenkins, a 57-year-old woman from Aspen, Colorado, was last seen on August 17, 2014, near the Burnt Mountain area, northeast of Thomasville in Eagle County. Dorothy had been camping with her boyfriend when she left the campsite around 2 p.m. for a walk. Her boyfriend, who had been napping, woke up to find Dorothy missing and searched for her before returning home to Aspen, believing she might return later. However, she never did, and she was reported missing the following day.
