Walter Romero Melgar, a 22-year-old male, went missing on September 4, 2014, near Eagle Pass, Texas. He was last heard from while attempting to cross the Rio Grande River from Piedras Negras, Mexico, into the U.S. Around 8 p.m. that evening, Walter contacted someone to confirm his plans to cross the river, but it remains unclear if he successfully made it across. Since that day, no one has heard from him, and his whereabouts remain unknown.
