His mother last saw him when she dropped him off at his home in the 700 block of Joey Avenue around 10 p.m. They exchanged a goodnight text at 11:19 p.m., marking the last time anyone heard from him.
When his mother returned the next afternoon, Bear was missing, along with some personal items such as his TV, bedding, crutches, and a backpack containing his diabetes medication. However, essential items like his glasses, toothbrush, and phone charger were left behind. His phone was turned off the following day and has not been reactivated. There has been no activity on his bank account or social media, and he missed a scheduled doctor’s appointment, heightening concerns.
His family suspects foul play, as it was uncharacteristic for him to leave without notifying them. Bear was known for being generous and often hosted people at his apartment, which might have led to trouble. Despite searches and a reward of $50,000, Bear’s whereabouts remain unknown, and his case is still unsolved.
