In the fall of 1953, the life of a 15-year-old girl named Beverly Catherine Mastny took a turn that would leave her family with unanswered questions for decades. On September 21, Beverly left her home in Broadview Heights, Ohio, with the intention of walking to her high school in nearby Breckville, but she never arrived.
