Furman Joseph Byrd, an 18-year-old from Cleveland, Ohio, was last seen on June 28, 1968. At the time of his disappearance, Furman was possibly an art student in Boston, Massachusetts, and there are conflicting reports about whether he went missing from Cleveland or Boston. Furman stood between 5'6" and 5'10" and weighed between 130 and 170 pounds. He had black hair and brown eyes.
