Cornelia "Connie" Enright, 18, disappeared on April 24, 1969, after meeting a friend at Lum's Restaurant on Altamont Avenue in Rotterdam, New York. She was last seen around 11:00 p.m. when her friend left the restaurant, assuming Cornelia would follow in her own car. However, Cornelia never returned home. The next morning, her car was discovered abandoned at a Friendly's restaurant on State Street in nearby Schenectady.
