Velita Gambrell, a 37-year-old woman from the Bronx, New York, was last seen on September 16, 1998, around 4:00 p.m. in the vicinity of Livingston Street. She stood about 4'11" tall, weighed 100 pounds, and had a distinctive appearance with large upper front teeth. Velita was known to wear eyeglasses or contact lenses. Her sudden disappearance occurred under unclear circumstances, and she has not been heard from since that day.
