Velita Gambrell, a 37-year-old woman from the Bronx, New York, was last seen on September 16, 1998, around 4:00 p.m. in the vicinity of Livingston Street. She stood about 4'11" tall, weighed 100 pounds, and had a distinctive appearance with large upper front teeth. Velita was known to wear eyeglasses or contact lenses.
