Sylvia Torgow, an 18-year-old from Florida, disappeared on September 17, 1970, after escaping from the Huron Valley Women's Prison in Plymouth, Michigan. At the time, she had been serving a 2-to-4-year sentence for credit card theft and managed to flee just five months into her incarceration. Sylvia’s disappearance has remained a mystery for decades, with no confirmed sightings or known leads following her escape.
