James McLaughlin, a 37-year-old man from Carbondale Township, Pennsylvania, went missing on February 8, 1980. He was last seen at his home, a trailer located on Rushbrook Road, which he shared with his girlfriend. According to her, she left the trailer to go for a walk, and upon her return, McLaughlin had disappeared. There were no immediate signs of foul play, and he has not been heard from since.
