Louis Mackerley, a 7-year-old boy from Allentown, Pennsylvania, disappeared on June 7, 1984, while walking near his home. That afternoon, Louis told his babysitter he was going to play with friends just two doors down from his residence on Chew Street. He was later seen at a local hot dog shop, where he reportedly spent about 45 minutes, telling the owner he was trying to avoid teenage boys who were chasing him.
