Raymen Justice, a 17-year-old from Oakland, California, was fatally shot on September 21, 2010, in what was described as a senseless act of violence. The incident occurred just a block away from his family’s apartment. His father, upon hearing the commotion, ran to the scene only to witness his son die in his arms. This tragedy was a heartbreaking loss, not only for Raymen’s family but also for the Oakland community, where Raymen was a prominent and inspiring figure among his peers.
