On August 16, 2015, Sergio Cortes, a 15-year-old boy, was tragically shot in Oakland, California. The incident occurred around 1:56 a.m. near San Antonio Park and the 2000 block of Foothill Boulevard. It was a drive-by shooting, where an unknown individual in a passing vehicle opened fire, striking Sergio.
