Julius Fowler, aged 34, was shot and killed on June 3, 2015, in East Oakland, California. The incident occurred around 11:03 p.m. in the 1800 block of Birch Street, close to Fowler's residence. Officers in the vicinity heard gunshots and responded to the scene, where they found Fowler. Unfortunately, despite the quick response, no suspects were apprehended at the time, and there was no clear motive for the attack.
