Greg James Birch, 20 years old at the time, was last seen on March 19, 1982, in Dixon, Illinois. His disappearance followed a series of unusual events that began three days earlier. On March 16, 1982, Greg left his home in Geneva, Illinois, stating he was going to visit his grandmother, who lived nearby.
