Jesus Roberto Saldana, a 29-year-old man, was last seen in El Paso, Texas, on July 9, 1984. After finishing his shift at a local bar and restaurant, where he had been employed for five years, he left in his 1965 Chevrolet Impala around 10:00 p.m. and was apparently headed home to his residence on Savannah Avenue. However, he never made it home and has not been heard from since.
On July 11, Saldana’s car was discovered parked outside Ludy Mae’s, a bar on Montana Avenue, with his car keys, wallet, and paycheck left inside. Strangely, none of the staff at the bar recalled seeing him that night. His disappearance was considered highly unusual, as it was not in his character to leave without warning. Due to these circumstances, authorities suspect that Saldana may have been kidnapped, although no substantial leads have surfaced, and his case remains unsolved.
