Guillermo Macias Urrieta, a 22-year-old man, was last seen on June 4, 1998, in San Antonio, Texas. His disappearance is classified as an endangered missing person case. On that night, Guillermo was forcibly abducted at gunpoint by three Hispanic males from his home in the Southwest side of San Antonio. The assailants forced him into the trunk of a red vehicle, described as a Nissan Sentra, which was notably new-looking with chrome wheels and bumpers.
After the abduction, Guillermo was never seen or heard from again.
According to witness reports, the incident occurred shortly after Guillermo had returned home from dropping off a friend. His family, shocked by the abduction, could not identify any clear motive for the crime. Despite extensive searches, including the use of a police helicopter, no substantial leads emerged in the immediate aftermath. Guillermo was wearing a red t-shirt, blue jean shorts, and a gold chain with a cross at the time of his disappearance. He also had distinctive tattoos, including a butterfly on his right leg and a skull on his right shoulder, along with a birthmark on his forehead and a mole near his left eye.
