Anton Cesnjevar, a 69-year-old man from Sarasota, Florida, went missing on November 1, 2001, while walking with his wife, Danka, near Lido Beach. The couple had been walking along Benjamin Franklin Drive around 9:00 p.m. when they became separated. Danka reported that Anton, who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease and could become disoriented, insisted she was walking in the wrong direction.
