In the late autumn of 2008, a sense of unease began to settle over the family of 28-year-old Andrew Thomas Stoffel. A resident of Rockford, Illinois, Andrew was last in contact with his loved ones in early December of that year. The last time they had seen him was during their Thanksgiving gathering.
