John Bruce Philips, a 50-year-old man from Cape Carteret, North Carolina, has been missing since April 27, 2015. Philips, who was deaf, was last seen leaving his home on foot around 9 a.m. that morning. Despite extensive search efforts by law enforcement and civilian volunteers, his whereabouts remain unknown.
