Mary Rhodes Robertson, aged 61, was last seen at her home in Lake City, Florida, on the morning of May 6, 2015. Mary suffered from dementia and required daily medication, which she did not have with her when she disappeared. On the day she went missing, her husband last saw her around 10 a.m. She left on foot as she did not have access to a vehicle. Although she had wandered from home before due to her dementia, she was usually found nearby.
Unfortunately, this time, despite extensive searches, no sign of her has been discovered.
Multiple agencies participated in a thorough search effort, including the use of bloodhounds, aircraft, ATVs, and volunteers, canvassing neighborhoods and wooded areas around her home. The search lasted for several days, but yielded no leads or concrete evidence regarding her whereabouts. Her case remains unsolved, and authorities continue to request information that might help bring closure to her family, who have been missing a beloved wife, mother, and sister for several years.
