He was also believed to be wearing a black cap and possibly carrying a Protec LED flashlight and a spring-loaded pocket knife. The day after Dalton was last seen, an official search was launched to find him. For eight days, from September 10th to September 18th, 2015, search and rescue teams scoured the rugged terrain surrounding the Dalton Highway hunting camp.
